[For those in the plaza, they may see Grell lounging on the edge of the clothing shop roof. She's just sitting, filing her nails and giving herself a manicure, watching people down below, but since Grell can't come into town without ruining someone's day, she pops the journal open to do just that.]
It seems the dead and nearly dead are coming back, hm? I say this every draft, so I do hate to sound like a broken record, but it also seems that none of you have quite figured out the trick of not getting yourselves killed out there.
Honestly, I've never seen a village so small so terrible at simply not dying. Just because you get a lovely free pass back from the afterlife doesn't mean you should abuse your privilege.
Do you have any idea how much paperwork I have to do now? It's awful.

That's a death god you're talking to. A very easily slighted and fairly psychotic one. [Bluntly. The Marine has a hell of a taste in women - things one finds out when you keep tabs on the enemy. God, Smoker.] Don't make yourself a target.

Because Smoker lives in CH1 so it would be logical for Grell to also be around that building quite a bit. A run in was inevitable.]
That meet up will happen sooner or later. I'd rather you do the enlightening than be enlightened.

But you know as well as me that fights don't stay contained here. Do you think it will end up with it just being between you and her?
[He'd point to Archie Kennedy as a prime example. But he doesn't know Grell's behind that.

I also know well that type of petty. She comes looking for you, and Shikamaru answers the door? Girl goes 'hmm, lookit that, he has a friend. Cute thing... wonder if they're close. And I outta leave a calling card. Wouldn't it just make his day if this kid bled a little?'

Anyone can fall. Anyone can become a target. [There is not such a thing as invincibility. The draft is a prime example. That is reality.] Thinking otherwise can put people in unnecessary danger, no matter how strong they are.
Sometimes picking the fight is the only thing to do, despite the consequences. But it has to be for the right reasons. Because even with the right reasons the burden of all that comes after can be painfully heavy to bear.
So do you really need to do this?

Right now, no. But I guess I've got that thing called pride. I get told to hold off any more and I'll probably end up changing my mind.
