To the rest of you, is there nowhere in this little bubble for a girl to find a proper hairdresser? Honestly, what have you all been doing?

I would hope you did more than just 'treat' it. Taking care of our hair is important, you know.

There wasn't a spa in the afterlife, I take care of everything on my own.

Well, I suppose being dead would put a damper on things, but what about now?

Not my fault boarding schools don't have their own salons. [ She shrugs. ] I don't think there's any place, so probably the same.

[ ooc: It's okay, I'm on spring break! I don't have to sleep. 83 ]

Well in that last respect, you would be wrong. A few of us are going to start up a place, so do drop in.

I'm rather handy with blades, yes. I used to cut my employer's hair.

What about the stuff that isn't blades? Like if I had a formal occasion and I wanted you to put my hair up and curl it or do fancy things to it? [ Even though her expression is staying pretty straight-faced, she's mostly just messing with Grell. She can't think of an occasion she'd really need to get all that prettied up for, it's not like she's got anyone to impress. ]

Oh, sweetheart, that's so simple. Is there anyone special you have in mind you wish to impress~?

[ She shakes her head, no hesitation, not even a question about it. ] No one. I've never fallen in love with anyone, it was just curiosity.

[ ooc: They always seem so much longer when you start and then blamo, over. ]

[ooc; orz i know, right? when you only get like two or three days of holiday, it's even worse]

Nope, no one at all. [ A beat. Well, there's Noda.. But it's a one-sided thing. Does that count? Probably not since she doesn't give a damn about him (like that anyway). ] There was one guy who liked me, but he was a moron and I didn't return his feelings at all. That's probably the closest thing.

[ ooc: Exactly! Then it just throws off the rest of your week and it's almost worse.. ]

[Grell sighs] Just because you're dead doesn't mean you have to let your heart die as well! What spice is there to life if you have no passion, no love? It's a tragedy of the worst kind!

[ooc; oh god it does...next month i have like...1 day of work in a week and idk how i'm going to get through it orz]

[ Yuri loves. Enough that it screws up the whole balance of the afterlife she's in, but she doesn't know that yet. She doesn't understand that the reason she wants to protect everyone so much is because of that. Being in love though, like Grell's talking about... that's something she's never experienced. She'd never dream of it, just because being able to be happy like that... ] Being able to be in love with someone like that would be a luxury I can't let myself have. Besides, like I said-- he only one who's ever felt that way about me was a complete moron.

[ ooc: Become one with the furniture and bond with it, clearly. It can be an anthropological study of couches. Which.. technically isn't anthropology, but the study style is clearly the same. ]

[ooc; oh god i did that today since i was kind of sick orz]

When I was younger.. my brother and sisters were murdered in front of me because I couldn't get the burglars what they wanted. After that, a lot of things that happened in my life kept going, then I died too, and I can't accept being happy when I haven't been able to atone for that. Falling in love would be something that a normal person who can accept happiness can do. Accepting happiness means I'll stop existing in that afterlife and my soul will be reincarnated without ever doing anything for them. [ She hesitates for a moment, then laughs a little. ] This talk got kind of depressing.

[ ooc: sjhdgjlaks I hate staying home all day.. I hope you feel better. ;o; ]

[Well. That wasn't quite what she expected. Grell raises an eyebrow as she listens to Yuri's story.]

....Well. That was certainly cathartic, wasn't it.

And what of here, hm? It's not as if you are able to simply stop existing here, what with Death being put aside for the moment.

I don't know. I'm the one who can't accept being happy, so it'd probably take a really pain in the ass kind of guy to get to me like that. I haven't met anyone who's sparked my interest.

Well, if that's the case, then don't lower your standards. Wait for the one who sets your heart on fire and settle for nothing less~

It does seem that all the good men here are taken. Or dull in the head. Pretty to look at, but not much going on upstairs. A shame, really. I miss the days when I could find someone who could put a chill down my spine at every turn.
