[Meanwhile, the thief is cooling his heels by the fountain with a thermos of Yorkshire tea cut with milk and a neatly wrapped package from the bakery for the woman he's meeting to eat. He's wearing his red jacket, as promised, and his smile is easy as he waves at the duo.]

[Arches an eyebrow at the knights comment. Really, he's not a heroic type.] We'll see, eh. [Returns the wave, nothing being given away in the pure deadpan expression.]

[Grell smiles back and curtsies. Red jacket and waiting at the fountain? Looks like this is the man.]

Monsieur Lupin, I presume?

That's correct, Miss Suttcliff. [He returns the courtesy with a short bow of his own, and passes off the thermos and package.] Tea, English style, and something to eat as promised.

[He nods at Marco.] You her blue birdie? Thanks for the assist, I wasn't sure how to get her.

[Arches an eyebrow at such a nickname.]

My blue rogue, if anything. [Grell accepts the package, grinning.] I'm ever so lucky to be indebted to two such handsome men. However shall I repay your kindnesses, hm?

Blue rogue? [He looks Marco over curiously. It seemed like a passing appelation. He offers a hand to Marco.] It's no biggie--our lady here was caught in the strangest New Feather drop I've heard yet!

[A smile at Grell.]

No repayment needed. Don't worry about a thing.

[Shakes the hand offered, though Marco isn't as friendly in return.] You must be new here too. Some people have gotten trapped in walls, or dropped in the river -- even when they couldn't swim.

[He does grin back at Grell though, echoing Lupin's sentiments almost at the exact same time as him.] No need. Your presence is thanks enough and I'm sure he feels the same.

Well, being dropped at sea and picked up by such a delight means I'm rather lucky in comparison then. [Being trapped in a wall would blow. Like. Seriously.

Grell smiles, curtsying again.]

Oh, you two do know how to spoil a lady, don't you? You're both so terrible.

...This is the second cycle I've seen aside from the one I landed in, so you could say that I'm still pretty new compared to others here.

Lucky newbies are always fun though. [He winks playfully at Grell.] Spoiling ladies is fun for me--why wouldn't I be good at it?

Nfu, pirates, thieves, rogues, hopeless romantics, daring rescues, this place is certainly shaping up to be interesting. [she smiles back at marco and gives lupin a wink.]

And while I do love basking in the spotlight when my audience is so delicious, I do believe I should be finding my own clothing again, hm? This coat is lovely, but I must admit to being a bit shy beneath it.

It's a little bit like you fell down through the Rabbit's Hole here, but it's not bad once you get used to it. It's easier too--you can find a lot of your things from home, including and favorite shirts or pairs of shoes.
