[The sound of water and waves and not much else follows for a moment.]
Where...? ...! Where are all the bodies?! And the ice?! WILLIAM, DID YOU JUST LEAVE ME IN THIS BOAT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ATLANTIC?! WILL?! RONALD! Ronald Knox, so help me, if you took off just because of a little overtime, I am going to---!! Ugh! Will! Wii---

Yeah. Save it for later.
I can't say that I know why you've been brought here, or any of us. The people responsible, the Malnosso, make no damn sense. At least you know you're not at home, though. That's good.
...I wandered for the better part of a day in the cold, thinking I was drunk and dumped out in the wilderness.

Look, I really do need to be getting back now, if you please. Will shall have my head - not that I mind - if I don't file those reports and Ronald isn't exactly the one I'd trust to do that sort of thing.
no subject
Yeah. That's impossible. You find a way out of this place, let me know. If we end up in the same place, I'll pay you with all of the prizes I can find and more.

Ma belle. [he's being sarcastic with the french.] I don't even want to know what you're thinking, but the fact still stands that
you.
can't.
get.
out.

But one simply can't trap people forever. Especially not people like me.
no subject
yes they can.

Can you handle that boat you're on? I'm no shipwright, but I think I can find someone to offer advice if you're stuck.

[Okay, she's done. She sighs and twirls the book in her hands.]
If I were but closer to land, this wouldn't be a problem, but unfortunately it seems tides and time have pulled me far.
no subject
So, can you see land at all?
no subject
It seems a pretty blue bird may be on his way, however. Hopefully with a coat. Dreadful weather you lot have.
no subject
Well, we are coming out of winter. Makes sense that the weather's cold.
When your blue bird picks you up, you want to meet in town? I can help you get settled and all, at least a little.
no subject
And your name?
no subject
Arsene Lupin III. You'll be able to find me because I really like my red coat. Yours?
no subject
[Ahn, French.] Monsieur Lupin, a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Or something of the like. Grell Sutcliffe, of London, at your disposal.

...I'd say 'welcome to our humble little enclosure,' Mr. Suttcliff, but there's some major flaws with this place and I'd be lying if I said it was all sunshine and sparkles. It's not too bad, if your straights at home leave you worse off, but it's smaller than Brussels and much more quiet...
Tell your ride that we can meet by the fountain. This place gets really confusing, even with the guide.
no subject
I shall inform him whene-- ....Ahn, it seems he is here.
no subject
...We can talk later if your birdie's arrived. Remember: The Fountain. I'll have a cup of hot tea for you. British style, right? Black with milk?
no subject
Ah, but that is for later. Yes, British style, if you please. The...bluebird seems to be landing.
no subject
We'll talk in town then, Miss Suttfliff. I'll have tea and...some kind of food waiting. Have fun with the birdie~
