I'm not entirely certain myself, but he never ate anything except human food. Hisui-sama said that he agreed to eat with her after she gave up her position as an archangel, so that's probably why.

I agree! Especially considering how powerful and scary he used to be. He's still strong, though, just not as scary... It's sad that Hisui left heaven, but I'm glad they're happy together.
