I'm from before the 1880s, dearest. Electricity, while it's definitely a boon, isn't entirely necessary. I do enjoy it, however. It does make some jobs so much easier.

I guess I'm used to the 21st Century. Every salon I've ever seen couldn't run without it.

...Well, they could, but it would seem like something out of the...well, something out of the 1880s, actually! Were you thinking of going the Charming, Reminds-You-of-Home look, or something more advanced?

Well, seeing how I don't know the more "advanced" types save for what we had at work, I suppose an "At Home" style wouldn't be so bad. A place for ladies to get together and chat, share gossip, just enjoy time. It would be ever so lovely, don't you think? We really don't have enough of that here. Pubs, barracks, all that lot - it's terribly...masculine.
